Let the part be 'x' and the other part be 41 - x.
So, according to the question.
(x)² - (41 - x)² = 369
x² - x² - 82x + 1681 = 369
- 82x = 369 - 1681
- 82x = - 1312
x = 1312/82
x = 16
Therefore, the one part is 16 and the other part is 41 - 16 = 25.
