=> 5% × x = 10% × ( 4500 - x )

=> ( 5/100 ) × x = ( 10/100 )( 4500 - x )

multiply both sides with ( 100/5 ) , we get

x = 2( 4500 - x )

=> x = 9000 - 2x

=> x + 2x = 9000

=> 3x = 9000

=> x = 9000/3

x = 3000
