If you want to divide ₹520 between A and B in 8:5 ratio..

then just divide 520 by sum of ratios i.e 8+5 = 13

= 520÷13 = 40

Now ...

multiply 40 by 8 I.e. 320...
and 40 by 5 i.e 200
