Dear Student,
Solution:

Let we assume the one part to be 'x':
then the other party will become....
 \frac{2}{7}  \times x =  \frac{2}{7} x
Now..
•According to Question:
 x  +   \frac{2}{7} x = 54
7x +  \frac{2x}{7}  = 54

 \frac{9x}{7}  = 54
9x = 378
x =  \frac{378}{9}
 x = 42

Now, we can say that if one part is 42, then the other part will be....

 \frac{2}{7} x =  \frac{2}{7}  \times 42 = 2 \times 6 = 12
•Hence, the two parts are 42 and 12.
