hey!
here is your Answer!
let the first number be X
&
second number be (57-x)
now,
it's product
==> X*(57-x) = 782
==> 57x -x^2 = 782
==> -x^2 +57x -782
or
==> x^2 -57x +782 = 0
Now factorise
==> x^2 -34x -23x +782 =0
==> X( x-34) -23( x-34) = 0
==> (x-34) (x-23)
so
==> X = 23, 34
