f(x)=12x3−13x2−5x+7

When f(x) is divided by (3x+2) the remainder is f(−32). Now,

f(−32)=12(−32)3−13(−32)2−5(−32)+7

=12(−278)−13(94)+310+7

−932−952+310+7=99=1

∴ The remainder is 1.
