We solve the sum using fraction

solution ⤵️

Total ruppes=60 ruppes

sum of Proportional share rate =1+2=3

proportional share rate of Kriti =1/3

proportional share rate of kiran =2/3

Kriti get =60×1/3=20 ruppes

kiran get =60×2/3=40 ruppes

in this type of sums we used this formula

=total ruppes/quantity/distance/time etc×proportional share rate

like 1/3 of a drink cost 20 ruppes total cost ?

1/3 =20 rupppes

1 =20×3=60 ruppes

therefore total cost is 60 ruppes

Answer:

Let a common factor be x.

Then, x+2x=60

3x=60

x=20

Now, Kriti will get x=20 rupees

Kiran will get 2x= 40 rupees
