divide 63 into two parts such that one part is 2/ 7 of the other

Answer:

let the two parts be x and 63 - x

2x/7 = 63 - x

2x/7 + x = 63

9x/7 = 63

x = 63*7/9

x = 49

63 - x = 14

the two parts are 14 and 49
