Answer:

let c will get x

then

B will get =x*50/100

x*1/2

x/2

a will get =x/2*50/100

x/2*1/2

x/4

now we know that

x+x/2+x/4=7000

take the lcm

4x+2x+x/4=7000

7x/4=7000

x=7000*4/7

x=1000*4

x=4000

share of c =x=4000

share of B=x/2=4000/2=2000

share of A=x/4=4000/4=1000

Question:-

Divide 7000 among A,B,C such that A get 50 % of what B gets and B gets 50% of what C gets.

Required Answer:-

Given:-

  • A gets 50% of B
  • B gets 50% of C

To Find:-

  • The amount A, B and C gets

Solution:-

We were given that:-

 \\  \sf{\bold{A + B+ C = 7000}}

  • As A gets 50% of B, we can write:-

  \\  \sf{50\% \times B + B + C = 7000}

  • Again, B gets 50% of C

 \\ \sf{ 50\%(50\% \times C) + 50\% \times C+ C = 7000}

 \\  \sf{ \implies{C(50\%  \times 50\% + 50\% + 1) = 7000}}

 \\  \sf{ \implies{C( \dfrac{50}{100}   \times   \dfrac{50}{100}  +  \dfrac{50}{100}  + 1 ) = 7000}}

 \\  \sf{ \implies{C( \dfrac{1}{2}   \times   \dfrac{1}{2}  +  \dfrac{1}{2}  + 1 ) = 7000}}

 \\  \sf{ \implies{C( \dfrac{1}{4}  +  \dfrac{1}{2}  + 1) = 7000}}

 \\  \sf{ \implies{C\times  \dfrac{7}{4}  = 7000}}

 \\  \sf{ \implies{C = 7000 \times  \dfrac{4}{7} }}

 \\  \sf{ \therefore{C =  \red{4000}}}

Therefore, C gets Rs.4000

Now,

  • B gets 50% of C

 \\  \sf{B \: gets = 50\% \times 4000}

 \\  \sf{ \implies{B \: gets =  \dfrac{50}{100}  \times 4000}}

 \\  \sf{ \therefore {B \: gets =  \red{2000}}}

Hence, B gets Rs.2000

Again,

  • A gets 50% of C

 \\  \sf{A \: gets = 50\% \times 2000}

 \\  \sf{ \implies{A \: gets =  \dfrac{50}{100}  \times 2000}}

 \\  \sf{ \therefore {A \: gets =  \red{1000}}}

Hence, A gets Rs. 1000

 \\  \boxed{ \rm{A\: B \: and \: C \: gets \:  \bold{Rs.4000 \: ,Rs.2000 \: and \: Rs.1000} \: respectively. }}
