Divide 72 in the ratio 2÷1/2 : 1÷1/2

given ratio = 2÷1/2: 1÷1/2= 5/2 : 3/2

5/2×2 : 3/2×2

sum of ratios = 5+3=8

'1st divide = 5/8×72 =45

2nd divide = 3/8×72 = 27
