 \frac{4 ({x}^{2} + 3x + 2 )}{2(x + 1)}

middle term splliting,

 \frac{4( {x}^{2} + 2x + x + 2) }{2(x + 1)}

 \frac{4[ x(x + 2) + 1(x+2)]}{2(x+1)}

 \frac{4 \times (x + 1) \times (x \ +  2)}{2(x + 1)}
