\huge\sf{Steps}

✭ First draw a line AB for 7 cm

✭ Now draw another line AX'

✭ Add up the ratios ➝ 4+3 = 7. And so mark 7 arcs with a random radius but all equal

✭ Mark them as A₁, A₂, A₃, A₄, A₅, A₆ & A₇ respectively

✭ Join A₇ with B

✭ Take a set square and place it on A₇C and take a scale and place it below the set square

✭ Slide both of these till A₄ and right at that place draw a line joining A₄ and AB

✭ Let the point of intersection be C and it divides the line segment on the ratio 4:3

On Measuring

➳ AC = 3.6 cm

➳ CB = 3.4 cm

So to verify if they are correct,

»» AB = AC+CB

»» 7 = 3.6+3.4

»» 7 = 7

Hence Proved!!
