a) Sum of 5/21 and 4/7 is 17/21
Difference of 5/21 from 4/7 is -1/3
According to question -
17/21 Divided by -1/3 = -17/7

b) Difference of 12/5 from -16/20 is 16/5
Product of 12/5 and -16/20 is -48/25
Now, ATQ -

a)
5/21 + 4/7 = (5 + 12) / 21 = 17 / 21
5/21 - 4/7 = (5 - 12) / 21 = -7 / 21

17/21 ÷ (-7)/21 = 17/21 × 21/(-7) = 17/(-7) = -17/7

b)
12/5 - (-16)/20
=(48 + 16) / 20
64 / 20

12/5 × -16/20 = -192/100

64/20 ÷ (-192)/100
=64/20 × 100/(-192)
=320/(-192)
=-320/192
=-5/3
