by linear division ,,

a²+6a+5=a(a+1)-a+6a+5

=a(a+1)+5a+5

=a(a+1)+5(a+1)-5+5

=a(a+1)+5(a+1)+0

= (a+1)(a+5)+0

comparing with Euclid's division lemma

Dividend= Divisor×Quotient+Remainder

Quotient= (a+5)

Remainder= 0

Hope it helps
