Answer:

3500/28=125

7x*125=855

8x*125=1000

12x*125=1500

The amount is divided in "x" parts therefore

a gets 7x

b gets 9x

c gets 12x

7x+9x+12x = 3500

28x=3500

x=3500/28

x=125

Share of a = 125x7= 875

Share of b = 125×9=1125

Share of c = 125×12=1500
