Given,

\[\left( {2{x^4} + 3{x^2} + 5} \right) \div \left( {x + 2} \right)\]

Solution,

\[ = \frac{{\left( {2{x^4} + 3{x^2} + 5} \right)}}{{\left( {x + 2} \right)}}\]

Use synthetic method.

Remainder \[ = 49\]

Quotient \[=2{x^3} - 4{x^2} + 11x - 22\]
