Dividend = (x³-4x²-2x+1 )

Quotient = (x-3)

after performing synthetic division method we get

Remainder = -14

Divisor =(x²   −x−5 )

Therefore we can say that:-

(x³-4x²-2x+1) = (x−3−) (x²   −x−5) - 14

Ans :- Remainder = -14, Divisor =(x²   −x−5 )
