divide p (x) by g (x) where p(x) =x+3x²-1 and g(x) =1+x​

Answer:

By using remainder theorem,

g(x)= x+1 = 0

x = -1

By putting value of x in p(x),

p(x) = 3x^2 +x -1

= 3(-1)^2 + (-1) -1

= 3 -1 -1

= 1

hence remainder is 1 and by division rule we can find divisor
