Divide Rs 300 into two such that half of one part may be less than the other by 48

Answer:

Let the 1st part be = x

2nd part = x+48

ATQ

x+(x+48)=300

2x + 48 = 300

2x=300-48

2x=252

x=252/2

x=126

Ist part = 126

2nd part = 126 + 48 = 174
