Two charities get Rs. 30000 and Rs. 20000 respectively.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that the ratio in which the money Rs. 50000 divided between the two charities is 1/10 : 1/15

Now, 1/10 + 1/15

= (3 + 2)/30

= 5/30

= 1/6

Fractional value of 1/10 is

= (1/10) / (1/6)

= 6/10

= 3/5 and

that of 1/15 is

= (1/15) / (1/6)

= 6/15

= 2/5

Then the first charity will get

= Rs. 3/5 * 50000

= Rs. 30000

and the second charity will get

= Rs. 2/5 * 50000

= Rs. 20000
