let ,

rupees for 'a' = x

rupees for 'b' = y

rupees for 'c' = z

so ,.

x = 5z

x = 3y

=> x + y + z = Rs. 1380

=>. x + 3x + 5x = 1380

=>. 9x = 1380

therefore ,

as , $y\:=\:\frac{x}{3}$

also , $z\:=\:\frac{x}{5}$
