Question -:

Divide Rs 2000 among A, B and C in the ratio 2 : 3 : 5.

\blue\star Answer -:

Given -:

Amount to be divided = Rs 2000.

Ratio = 2 : 3 : 5.

To find -:

The share of A, B and C.

Solution -:

Sum of the terms = 2 + 3 + 5 = 10.

Therefore,

Share of A =  \frac{2}{10}  \times 2000 = 400

Share of B =  \frac{3}{10}  \times 2000 = 600

Share of C =  \frac{5}{10}  \times 2000 = 1000

Thus,

A got Rs 400.

B got Rs 600.

C got Rs 1000.

Hope it helps!
