Divide rupees 1380 among Ahemad John and Babita so that amount Ahemad receive is 5 times as much as Babita's share and is 3 times as much as John share??

so x=5z=3y

so z=x/5 and y =x/3

⇒ total will be x+x/5+x/3=1380

∴ x =900

z=180 and y=300

∴ share of Ahmed,john and Babita are Rs900. Rs300 and Rs300 respectively

Let the share of Babita be x.

Then the share of Ahemed will be 5 times as much as Babita's share = 5x.

Then the Share of John = 5x/3.

Given that Total amount = 1380.

x + 5x + 5x/3 = 1380

3x + 15x + 5x = 1380 * 3

23x = 4140

x = 4140/23

x = 180.

if the share of Babita = 180.

Then the share of Ahemed = 180 * 5

                                              = 900.

Then the share of John = 180*5/3

                                        = 300.
