let \: 2 \ratio4 \\  =  > 2x \ratio4x

2x + 4x = 90 \\  =  > 6x = 90 \\  =  > x =  \frac{90}{6}  \\  =  > x = 15

2x = 15 \times 2 =  > 30 \\ 4x = 4 \times 15 =  > 60

Answer:

90 into 2:4

let x be 1 unit

we need to devide 90 into 2x and 4x

2x+4x = 90

6x     = 90

   x    = 90/6

    x  = 15

2x = 30

4x = 60

then 90 rupees in the ratio 2:4 is 30:60

90 into 5:4

5x+4x=90

 9x   = 90

    x  = 10

5x = 50

4x=40

then 90 rupees in the ratio 5:4 is 50:40
