Length of segment AB = 7cm                 ( given)

Now we have to divide segment AB  = into a ratio 3:2​     ( given)

According the question, total length of AB =7cm

The given length can be  divided the by multiplying it with the given part. The length of each segment :-

$\frac{3}{5}$ of AB

$\frac{2}{5}$ of AB.

Length of one part = $\frac{3}{5}$ × 7

=$\frac{21}{5}$

=4.2 cm

Length of the another segment=$\frac{2}{5}$ ×7

= $\frac{14}{5}$

=2.8 cm

Hence, the two segments are 4.2 cm and 2.8 cm.

Ans :- The two segments are 4.2 cm and 2.8 cm.
