Given :   66y(y⁴-5y³-24y²) ÷6y (y-8)

To Find : divide

Solution:

66y(y⁴-5y³-24y²) ÷6y (y-8)

66 = 6 * 11

Take y² common from the terms inside bracket

= 6 * 11y * y² ( y² - 5y - 24) ÷6y (y-8)

Use middle term split and write -5y as -8y + 3y

= 6 * 11y * y² ( y² -8y + 3y - 24) ÷6y (y-8)

= 6 * 11y * y² ( y(y -8) + 3(y - 8)) ÷6y (y-8)

= 6 * 11y * y² (  (y -8) (y+ 3)) ÷6y (y-8)

= 6y * 11y² (y -8) (y+ 3) ÷6y (y-8)

=  6y (y -8)  11y²  (y+ 3) ÷6y (y-8)

Cancel 6y (y-8)

=  11y²  (y+ 3)

= 11y³ + 33y²

66y(y⁴-5y³-24y²) ÷6y (y-8)  =   11y²  (y+ 3)  = 11y³ + 33y²
