 \frac{6 \sqrt{12} }{3 \sqrt{2} }  \\  \frac{3 \times 2 \sqrt{12} }{3 \sqrt{2} }   \\ cancelling \: 3 \: we \: get \:  \\  \frac{2 \sqrt{12} }{ \sqrt{2} }  \\ now \: 2 =  \sqrt{2 \times  \sqrt{2} } so \: we \: have \\  \frac{2 \sqrt{12} }{ \sqrt{2} }  =  \frac{ \sqrt{2 \times 2 \times 12} }{ \sqrt{2} }  \\ cancelling \:  \sqrt{2 } we \: get \\   \sqrt{2 \times 12}  =  \sqrt{2 \times 3 \times 4}  =  \sqrt{6 \times 4}  = 2 \sqrt{6}
hope it helps
