2x³ + x² -4x - 3 = 2x * (x²+2x+1) - 3x²-6x-3
= 2x * (x²+2x+1) -3(x²+2x+1)
= (2x-3)*(x²+2x+1)
⇒ (2x³ + x² -4x - 3)/(x²+2x+1) = (2x-3)
