divide the line segment of length 9.6 CM in the ratio of 5:3

value = 9.6

5= 5x

3=3x

5x+3x= 9.6

8x=9.6

X= 9.6/8

====== 1.2

5x = 5*1.2

3x= 3*1.2

therefore , 6cm and 3.6 cm
