p(x) = 14x³- 5x² + 9x - 1

g(x) =  2x-1

Dividing both ↑

2x - 1 )  14x³- 5x² + 9x - 1 ( 7x² + x + 5

           14x³ - 7x²

          ______________

                      2x² + 9x - 1

                      2x² - x

           _______________

                                 10x - 1

                                 10x - 5

                             _________

                                          4

                             __________

We have Quotient q(x) = 7x² + x + 5

And

Remainder r(x) = 4

Now,

For verifying your answer do this ↓

QUOTIENT × DIVISOR + REMAINDER

⇒ 14x³- 5x² + 9x - 1 = (2x-1 ) (7x² + x + 5 ) + 4

⇒ Then you get :-

⇒ 14x³- 5x² + 9x - 1
