Divide the polynomial 2x4-2x3-7x2+3x+6 by x2-3​

 \frac{2 {x}^{4}  - 2 {x}^{3}  - 7 {x}^{2}  + 6}{ {x}^{2}  - 3}  \\  \\  =  {x}^{2}  - 2x + 4 +  \frac{18 - 3x}{ {x}^{2} - 3 }

I.e.

( {x}^{2}  - 3)( {x}^{2}  - 2x + 4)  - 3x + 18 = 2 {x}^{4}  - 2 {x}^{3}  - 7 {x}^{2}  + 3x + 6
