 {y}^{5}  -  {8y}^{4}  +  {5y}^{3}  \div  {y}^{2}

 {y}^{(5 - 2)}  -  {8y}^{(4 - 2)}  +  {5y}^{(3 - 2)}

 {y}^{3}  -  {8y}^{2}  + 5y
