As both fractions have different denominator so we will first make there denominator same so that we can add as well as subtract the fractions.

To make denominator same we will take L.C.M of 8&12 i.e. 24

No we will multiply both numerator and denominator -13/8 by 3 to make denominator 24

= -39/24

Similarly we will multiply both numerator and denominator of 5/12 by 2

= 10/24

Sum of -13/8&5/12 => sum of -39/24&10/24

= (-39 + 10)/24

= -29/24

Difference Between -13/8&5/12 => difference between -39/24&10/24

= (-39 - 10)/24

= -49/24

Also,

Difference Between -39/24&10/24 =

(10-(-39))/24

= (10 + 39)/24

= 49/24

Final answer = (-29/24)/(-49/24) = -29/-49 = 29/49

OR

= (-29/24)/(49/24) = -29/49

HOPE IT HELPS YOU!!!
