Hey

Sum of 3 / 8 and (-5) / 12

So ,

3 / 8 + (-5) / 12

= 9 + ( -10 ) / 24

= 9 - 10 / 24

= -1 / 24

Now ,

( -15 ) / 8 * 16 / 7

= (-15) * 2 / 7

= -30 / 7

Now ,

Reciprocal of (-30) / 7

= (-7) / 30

Now ,

Division of (-1) / 24 and (-7 ) / 30

= (-1) / 24 * (-30 ) / 7

= 1 / 4 * 5 / 7

= 5 / 28

thanks :)

here's ur answer...

first \: sum \: of \: \frac{3}{8} \: and \: \frac{ - 5}{12} \\ \\ lcm \: of \: 8 \: and \: 12 = 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 3 = 24 \\ \\ now \: the \: both \: fractions \: will \: be \\ \\ \frac{3 \times 3}{8 \times 3} = \frac{9}{24} \\ \\ \frac{ - 5 \times 2}{12 \times 2} = \frac{ - 10}{24} \\ \\ now \: their \: sum = \frac{9}{24} + \frac{ - 10}{24} \\ \\ = \frac{9 + ( - 10)}{24 } \\ \\ = \frac{9 - 10}{24} \\ \\ = \frac{ - 1}{24} \\ \\ now \\ \\ \frac{ - 15}{8} \times \frac{16}{7} = \frac{ - 30}{7} \\ \\ reciprocal \: of \: \frac{ - 30}{7} \: is \: \frac{ - 7}{30} \\ \\ now \: we \: have \: to \: divide \: \frac{ - 1}{24} \: by \: \frac{ - 7}{30} \\ \\ = \frac{ - 1}{24} \times \frac{30}{ - 7} \\ \\ = \frac{ - 30}{ - 168} = \frac{30}{168} = \frac{15}{84} = \frac{5}{28} \\ \\ hope \: this \: helps \: you...
