Solution:

i) Sum of 3/8 and 5/12

= (3/8)+(5/12)

LCM (8,12) = 24

= (9+10)/24

= 19/24 ----(1)

ii) (15/8)×(16/27)

= (3×5×2×8)/(8×3×9)

After cancellation, we get

= 10/9 -----(2)

iii ) Reciprocal of [(15/8)(16/27)

= Reciprocal of (10/9)

= 9/10 ----(3)

According to the problem given,

Divide the sum of 3/8 and _5/12 by the reciprocal of _15/8 ×16/27

= (1)/(3)

= (19/24) ÷ (9/10)

= (19/24) × (10/9)

= (19 × 2×5)/(2×12×9)

After cancellation,we get

= 95/108
