it is
If x+2y=9 and xy=4 then find the value of x^2+4y^2=9
If
If x + 2y = 9, then y = 9 - x / 2
If xy = 4, then y = 4 / x
Just plug in the values and you should be able to get the answer.

x + 5 = 0 ⇒ x = -5
Replacing x with -5 in equation:
⇒ (-5)² + 9(-5) + 20 = 0
⇒ 25 + (-45) + 20 = 0
⇒ 45 - 45 = 0
⇒ 0 = 0
Hence,
x² + 9x + 20 is divisible by x + 5
