On dividing  (x³ - 125 ) by ( x - 5) we will get (x² + 5² + 5x )

Given:

Divide  (x³ - 125 ) by ( x - 5)

To find:

(x³ - 125 ) ÷ ( x - 5)

Solution:

Given (x³ - 125 )

As we know 5³ = 125

(x³ - 125 ) =  (x³ - 5³)

From algebraic identity

                    (a³- b³) = (a-b)(a²+b²+ab)

Take a = x and b = 5

(x³ - 5³) = (x-5) (x² + 5² + 5x )

(x³ - 125 ) / ( x - 5) =  (x-5) (x² + 5² + 5x ) / ( x - 5) = (x² + 5² + 5x )

Therefore,

On dividing  (x³ - 125 ) by ( x - 5) we will get (x² + 5² + 5x )
