=> (1/4)x = (3/8)(40/x)

=> x/4 = 15/x

=> x² = 60

=> x = 2√15

Thus other part = 40/x

=> 40/2√15

=> 20/√15

Rationalising

=> 4√15/3

Thus the parts are 4√15/3 and 2√15.

Let's check

=> 4√15/3 multiply by 2√15

=> 8 x 15/3

=> 8 x 5

=> 40
