Given that,

p(x) = 8x³ + 2x⁴ + 7x³ + 4x² + 3

g(x) = x + 3

But p(x) not in the standard form. The above polynomial's degree is 4. So, it's a quartic polynomial.

Quartic polynomial's general form is,

 \large{\boxed{ax^4 + by^3 + cz^2 + d}}

Therefore, the general form of 8x³ + 2x⁴ + 7x² + 4x + 3 is,

 \large{\boxed{2x^4 + 8x^3 + 7x^2 + 4x + 3}}

Therefore, p(x) = 2x⁴ + 8x³ + 7x² + 4x + 3

But g(x) (or) x + 3 is a linear equation as it's degree is 1. The general form of a linear equation is,

 \large{\boxed{x + a}}

As x + 3 is already in a general form, then we don't wanna to write it again in the general form.

Please refer the above attachment for your answer.

q(x) = 2x³ + 2x² + x + 1

r(x) = x + 3.
