Let the rational between Nasir and Amir in the ratio 2 : 3 be x

So their share Nasir, 2x and Amir, 3x

A sum of Rs 5500 is to be divided between Nasir and Amir in the ratio 2:3.

2x + 3x = ₹5500

5x = ₹5500

x = 5500/5

x = 1100

The rational is 1100, thus the share of Nasir and Amir gets this,

Nasir share 2x = 2 × 1100 = ₹2200

Amir share 3x = 3 × 1100 = ₹3300

Thus Nasir will get ₹2200 and Amir will get ₹3300 out of ₹ 5500

Answer Nasir will get ₹2200 and Amir will get ₹3300 out of ₹ 5500

Given:

divides Rs.5500 among Nasir and Amir

their shares are proportional to 2 and 3

we can write it as 2:3

There share are Nasir's share=2x

Amir's share=3x

Rs.5500 is to be divided between Nasir and Amir in the ratio 2:3

Total =  Nasir's share + Amir's share

5500 = 2x + 3x

5x = 5500

x=5500/5

x = 1100

here

Nasir's share = 2x = 2 × 1100

Nasir's share = Rs.2200

Amir's share = 3x =3 × 1100

Amir's share = Rs.3300

Hence the Nasir's share is Rs.2200 and Amir's share is Rs.3300
