To be divisible by 15 a number has to be divisible by 3 and by 5. To be divisible by 5 the number must end in a 0 or a 5, easy enough. However divisibility by 3 is not so simple - the rule is to add up all of the digits of the number and if they are a multiple of 3 then the original number is also.

if the number should be divisible by 15,it must first be divisible by 3 and 5.
for finding divisibility of 3 and 5,

3--- the numbers digits should be added first if its a very llong number.if the added number id divisible by 3 ,the the whole long number is divisible too.
for ex-981.
add these digits we get 18 which id divisible by 3 thus 981 is also divisible by 3
5----the ending digit should be 5 or 10.
ex-15 and 60

for 15,
it should be both.
ex, 285.
add the digits we get 15 which is divisible by 3.and it ends with 5 too!!

hope it helps!!!!!!!
