to find out the number is dividible by seven take the last digit double it, and subtract it from the rest of the number. if you get an answer divisible by 7 ( including zero) then the original number is divisible by 7 . if you don't know the new numbers divisiblity , you can apply the rule again.

The divisibility rule of 7 states that for a number to be divisible by 7, the last digit of the given number should be multiplied by 2 and then subtracted with the rest of the number leaving the last digit. If the difference is 0 or a multiple of 7, then it is divisible by 7.
