The answer is (C(1,1) × C(20,1) ) /(C(20,1) ×C(20,1)) = 1/20

I hope it helps.

subhadeepmom: Probability of selecting rahul feom A is c(1,1)/c(20,1)=1/20
subhadeepmom: Probability of selecting rahul feom A is c(1,1)/c(20,1)=1/20 and probability of select 2 student out of 40 is 2/40 ao answer is 1/20*2/40=1/400=0.0025 is this correct?
shivamkumar271ozbchg: No bro Please revise your concept book once

1/20 or 2/40 so the probability is low here

subhadeepmom: Probability of selecting rahul feom A is c(1,1)/c(20,1)=1/20 and probability of select 2 student out of 40 is 2/40 ao answer is 1/20*2/40=1/400=0.0025 is this correct?
sunnycar: yes
sunnycar: but more correct is 1/20
subhadeepmom: But see the last line it says if 2 students are selected out of 40 students

sunnycar: ha to phir
