1)5÷(1+3) is not equal to 5÷1+5÷3
2)2÷(2+4) is not equal to 2÷2+2÷4

Hence with this examples we can justify that division does not distribute over addition

6 ÷ (2 + 1)  ≠ (6 ÷ 2) + (6 ÷ 1)

Step-by-step explanation:

The division fails to distribute over addition and gives different and unequal answers. Let's see

6 ÷ (2 + 1)

= 6 ÷ 3

= 2

while,

6 ÷ (2 + 1)

= (6 ÷ 2) + ( 6 ÷ 1)

= 3 + 6

= 9

Since 2 ≠ 9, it proves that division doesn't distribute over addition.
