Step-by-step explanation:

Example- 1) 2/3, -5/6 and 7/12

the rule of associative property is

a/b, c/d and e/f

a/b+(c/d+e/f)=(a/b+c/d)+e/f

solution- 2/3+(-5/6+7/12) = 2/3+(-10/12+7/12)

= 2/3+-3/12= 8/12+-3/12= 8-3/12=5/12

(2/3+-5/6)+7/12=(4/6+-5/6) +7/12

-1/6+7/12=-2/12+7/12=-2+7/12=5/12

2/3+(-5/6+7/12)=(2/3+-5/6)+7/12
