Human brain is divided into 3 parts:-
1) Forebrain:-
It has 2 parts:-
* Cerebrum- It is very developed in human it governance mental abilities like thinking memorizing learning consciousness etc. It is site of intelligence. It enables to understand things through sensory organ.
- Ociptal lobe - visual
- Temporal lobe- auditory
- Patietal lobe- touch
- Frontal lobe- muscular activities

* Olfactory lobe- It is present in bottom side of brain. It is centre of smell. It is not well developed in human.

2) Midbrain- it have nerves connected to forebrain and hindbrain.

3) Hindbrain :- It have 3 parts
* Cerebellum- It coordinates voluntary movement. It maintains posture and body balance.
* Pons- It regulate involuntary process like respiration.
* Medulla oblongata- It is also knpwn as brain stem. it is regulating Centre for swallowing, coughing, sneezing, vomiting.
