to divide two rational numbers we take a reciprocal of second rational number and divide it by first rational number if a/b and c/d are two rational number then a/d+b/d=a/b d/c

hope it will help plz mark as brainlist

Heya !!!

This is your answer......

To know how to divide rational numbers...
You should know the multiplication of rational numbers first.........

To multiply rational numbers
The numerator is multipled by the numerator and the denominator is multipled to the denominator.

Before, multiplication .. Cancil out equal values but only between denominator and numerator....

eg. If we have to multiply...
4/6 × 3/2....
We can see that 3 (Numerator in 2nd) and 6 (Denominator in 1st) can be simplified by dividing to 3.
Also, 4 and 2 can also be simplified.
So, 4/6 × 3/2 = 2/2 × 1/1 = 1.

Hope you got the multiplication.

Same concept is followed in rational numbers except of one thing.....

That is ....
We take multiplicative inverse or reciprocal of the divisor or the the second rational number.

{☆☆Multiplicative Inverse or Reciprocal of a number is that value which multipled to the original, make it equal to 1☆☆}
{¤¤ In simple words, numerator is brought to denominators place and deniminator is brought to numerators place.... eg. Reciprocal of a/b is b/a¤¤}

Let us take an example......

Let us Divide the number which we multipled above...

4/6 ÷ 3/2....

Reciprocal of 3/2 is 2/3.... ( as 3/2×2/3 = 1)

So, 4/6÷3/2
= 4/6 × 2/3
= 4/3 × 1/3 (Simplify 2 and 6 by dividing both by 2).

= 4/9.

Hope you got it.......
