Correct Question:-

Find two numbers whose ratio is 6:4 and their difference is 10.

Given:-

  • Ratio of numbers = 6:4
  • Difference = 10

To Find:-

  • Numbers

Solution:-

Put x in the ratio,

  • First number = 6x
  • Second number = 4x

According to question,

 \large { \rm \longmapsto \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:6x - 4x = 10}

 \large { \rm \longmapsto \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:2x = 10}

 \large { \rm \longmapsto \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:x = \cancel  \frac{10}{2} } \\

 \large { \rm \longmapsto \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:x = \bf{ \boxed{ \green{ 5}}}}

Now,

  • First number = 6x =  \boxed{ \red{ \mathfrak{ \large{ \underline{ \purple{30}}}}}}
  • Second number = 4x =  \boxed{ \large{ \mathfrak{ \red { \underline{ \purple{20}}}}}}

Hence,

  • The numbers are 30 and 20 respectively.
