Given Area = 1470sq.cm, ab = 25cm.

We know that Area = b * h

                         1470 = ab * dl

                         1470 = 25 * dl

                        dl = 1470/25

                            = 58.8 cm.

length of DL = 58.8cm.

Given Area = 1470 sq.cm, ad = 49 cm.

We know that Area = b * h

                        1470 = ad * bm

                        1470 = 49 * bm

                         bm = 1470/49

                                = 30 cm.

Length of bm = 30 cm.

Hope this helps!

vikramsingh2010: No DL=42cm
siddhartharao77: Then your question is incorrect vikramsingh
siddhartharao77: if the ab value is 35cm, then dl value will be 1470/35 = 42.In the question it is given that ab = 25cm, 1470/25 = 58.8cm.
