DL and BM are the heights on sides AB and AD respectively of
parallelogram ABCD. Ifthe area of the parallelogram
is 1470 cm2, AB-35 cm and AD-49 cm, find the length of BM
and DL

area of a parallelogram = 1470cm²
for sides, dl and AB,
b x h = 1470 cm²
35 x dl= 1470
dl= 1470/35
dl = 42cm
for sides bm and ad
b x h = 1470 cm²
ad x bm = 1470
49 x bm = 1470
bm= 1470/49
bm= 30cm
